Been told that if you learn how to make money selling Plexus online that somehow it differs from building offline?
That it’s easier & you can cut corners on the way to Plexus “riches”?
Sorry to be the one to burst your bubble but that’s a bunch of bunk.
You’re going to have to work just as hard to sell Plexus online as you would offline.
The cool thing, though? What I happen to personally love about online marketing?
You can put systems in place online that eventually become “residual lead and income generators”.
Unlike offline techniques where you’re constantly working it, working it, working it…you can work Plexus marketing ideas to the point where you eventually motor back your efforts and speak only to truly interested, quality Plexus leads.
But if you expect “something for nothing” then I’m not the guy for you.

There are some aspects to the industry that can hurt us, though.
If you’re like me, then you’re attracted to MLM as a business model because you have entrepreneurial tendencies.
You dream of:
- being your own boss
- retiring your spouse
- getting out of that job you hate
- leaving the cubicle lifestyle for the work-from-home lifestyle
- providing your kids all they desire
- paying off your home
- putting your children through college
- traveling whenever you feel like it
No, I didn’t just read your mind…I simply happen to be like you and have coached literally hundreds of others just like you. 🙂
Standard training for how to sell Plexus successfully focuses on the Kool-Aid thinking that “everyone needs our products” or “your friends and family won’t be able to say ‘no’ to you because it’s THAT good”.
Or the one I personally love: “anyone within 3 feet of you is a prospect cause it’s THAT good”.
How’s that stuff been working for you so far?

The Network Marketing System Lie
A true entrepreneur gets an idea and doesn’t stop until their business is a success.
On the other hand, the average network marketer gets sucked in by every willy-nilly marketer and never gains traction.
They’re always off chasing different Plexus marketing ideas before giving their initial efforts time to blossom.
So, allow me to piss a few folks off…you know, the “gurus” selling “business in a box” solutions to your anxiety about how to make money selling Plexus online.
These folks promise you network marketing systems that will solve all your problems. The pitch is something along the lines of:
Join my system and I’ll have you generating leads all day long right out of the gate. My sales pages are AMAZING and you’ll MAGICALLY sell Plexus without effort!
Please put on your entrepreneurial thinking cap for a moment and think long and hard about this promise. Think about how the Internet works.
The only way you can generate a lead online is if you first have a quality source of traffic.
If you don’t know how to find the people already interested in the solutions your Plexus products solve then please know that you can’t possibly have success inside any “system” that requires a traffic flow of quality prospects to see it.

Your Replicated Plexus Website
This leads me to your replicated website Plexus hands you upon getting involved.
How do you “position” this piece of Internet real estate? Is it the first item you show people online?
Absolutely not! I see folks using this replicated website in a way that only serves to repel potential prospects.
I see it on Twitter. I see it on Facebook. I see it all over social media.
First of all, please know that from a search engine perspective these replicated sites are worthless. Here’s why:
Google (and the other search engines) don’t like replicated sites.
Because Google’s purpose is to deliver their customers (the person performing a keyword search) unique and valuable content.
How unique is your Plexus replicated website?
That’s right, it’s not.
Every one of your competitors (other Plexus reps) has the same site/store.
How much valuable content is being generated on a replicated website? Exactly!
So, we’ve just failed what Google wants to index and list at their search engine results pages.
Google simply de-indexes these domains and now you’re stuck back a the beginning of our conversation:
How do I generate quality leads over to my Plexus replicated site so I can get folks to buy from and join ME?
I know! I’ll just spam my affiliate coded Plexus site all over social media…
Why Social Media Isn’t The Answer To Selling Plexus
In your search for Plexus marketing ideas…
…you go to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Pinterest with the thought that you’ll make a few connections, spam them your replicated site and the Plexus sales and reps will flow in.
I mean, wasn’t that the Kool-Aid everyone else has you drinking? LOL
Remember, I told you upfront that I’ll challenge you to think about this like a business, not the lottery.
You’re running a business here.
Would you ever consider running into a local church this coming Sunday and interrupting their service with something like the following:
“Hey, hey, HEY! Stop what you’re doing! I’m a Plexus rep. We have AWESOME products. You must buy them now. If you don’t you’d be dumb. You can also make money selling Plexus like me!!!!”
How would that go down?
But that’s what you’re doing if you’re blasting your replicated site link all over social media.
- It’s not targeted
- It’s annoying
- No one cares because they don’t know who you are or what you’re about
You haven’t taken the time to understand whether your followers even need what you’re offering.
How To Sell Plexus On Facebook & Other Social Media Sites
Posting Plexus product pics on Facebook or Instagram isn’t simply annoying to others.
It’s dangerous to your goal to sell Plexus successfully as well.
Here’s an example:
This is NOT how to sell Plexus on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
You lose all control over your business when you post product pics.
What do you do when you want to know more about a product you’ve seen somewhere?
You go to Google, Pinterest or YouTube and research a bit.
Then, you buy when ready.
You forgot about who posted the first product image that grabbed your attention and bought from someone else.
Never, ever use the Plexus name or product images on social media again if you want to sell Plexus successfully.
You need to use curiosity and something called Attraction Marketing (you might want to read my review posted here about a way to use Attraction Marketing correctly).
To sum it up:
Posting incorrectly on Facebook and other social media platforms is either annoying or it’s a sure-fire to lose out on the commissions you’re working so hard for.
Again, can you see how you’re not operating like an entrepreneur when doing that?
Can you see that it’s not marketing?
Seeing why it’s not working?
Whether you’re doing this or not doing it we still come to the same problem we started with when you started reading this post:
How do we get the folks who NEED the solutions your Plexus products solve to find out about you and see you as the person to buy from or join…as opposed to another Plexus rep or similar company in your niche?
How To Sell Plexus Successfully
Your Market Needs Solutions, Not a Sales Pitch
I want you to think about any successful online marketer.
What’s their “system”? How do they generate sales?
I can sum it up in two words:
While the process is more complicated than that all successful online entrepreneurs are good at solving the problems of their target market.
That’s what YOU must do if you expect to learn how to make money selling Plexus.
For example, some problems your products help folks find a solution for are:
- weight loss
I can keep going but here’s my point:
How different will you look once we have you leading with candida solutions, as opposed to posting a generic affiliate coded replicated site?
Remember that folks on the Internet are the same people you might meet offline.
They didn’t wake up today thinking they wanted to join the Plexus MLM program or buy your specific product.
No, they woke up today with candida, diabetes, or a weight problem.
All they care about is finding someone to help them solve that problem.
If you don’t position your Plexus MLM business properly and show them why you’re their best option, then they’ll buy from someone else who does.
That’s the free market.
You’re competing with other entrepreneurs who took the time to understand how Internet marketing works…and implemented that knowledge!
So how do you present your solutions in a friendly, effective way?
How To Best Generate Plexus Leads
Let me turn to an industry expert named Chris Brogan:
Chris has written many lead generation/social media books such as “The Impact Equation” where he teaches how to best cut through the “noise” we all encounter online.
The point is that he doesn’t recommend starting with your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram or Pinterest profile.
Instead, he recommends building your Internet “home base” first. It’s the same advice I give my clients…
…you’ll separate yourself from the pack and create a wildly successful Plexus MLM business once you develop a blog that “speaks” to those people your products can best serve.
Imagine starting a blog that provides tips on how to best lose weight in a healthy, long-lasting manner and then positioning your product as the ultimate solution?
Imagine gaining a following of visitors who come to respect your teachings and who hang on your every word.
Then, offer them an inviting offer to submit their email in exchange for additional education and tips.
You just created a lead from your blog! Congrats! Do a quick “happy dance”.
If you can generate one prospect, then you can generate 1000.
Now you have the opportunity to email them an offer to have a 15-minute consult with you on the phone.
They submit their info, questions and phone number.
You now have the phone number of a qualified Plexus lead and on your way to selling Plexus successfully.
This is vastly superior to anyone on your warm contact list or anyone you meet “prospecting” at the mall. This is a person expecting your call…a person who WANTS to speak to you precisely about what you offer: your Plexus products (most importantly, the solutions they bring to that person).
Isn’t that what you’re most passionate about? Teaching folks how you can be of service to them?
Your Next Step
You should be getting excited.
I know I got excited the very first time I heard of this concept.
I remember telling my wife,
“I no longer have to bug people at the mall!”
Is there more to this than simply “starting a blog“?
Of course…I would be doing you a disservice to say that.
It’s a process. There’s a learning curve to learning how to sell Plexus successfully.
But the cool thing about the Internet is that you can learn a little, implement a little, learn a little more, implement a little more, and so on.
